Summer Course / Pimpollo + Pocoapoco 

Art & Creativity Workshops / The Natural and Ecological 

In the summer of 2023 we collaborated with the community center in Colonia Vicente Guerrero, Oaxaca to curate and host a series of art workshop during their four-week free summer course, hosting 120 kids ages 6-12.

Through an open call to former residents based in Oaxaca, we put together a course in collaboration with 8 artists as teachers. Each project explored the use of natural materials and / or consciousness surrounding local ecological issues through art and creative work.

Courses included projects with artists Javier Santos, Dell Alvarado, Abril Salgado, Inari Reséndiz, Diana Gomez, Esmerelda Aragon, Adriana Monterrubio and Edgar Jahir Trujillo.
