Pocoapoco’s programs are created in collaboration with a wide network of artists, spaces and collectives whose experiences, practices and perspectives drive our workshops and the overall experience at Pocoapoco. All necessary materials are included.

Pocoapoco is housed in a traditional Oaxacan family home located in the center of Oaxaca City made up of five smaller apartments surrounding a central patio. Each apartment is equipped with a private bathroom and kitchen or kitchenette.

We offer shared and private rooms for our guests. For larger groups, guests are housed in Pocoapoco as well as another nearby home with an aligned look and feel.

Guests & residents eat communal meals of delicious local foods sourced from the nearby market and cooked by our team member Aurelia.

The majority of our workshops include visits to places and people outside of the city center. Comfortable transportation to programmed visits is included, as well as private transportation to Pocoapoco upon your arrival at the Oaxaca airport.

For guests who are arriving from outside of Oaxaca City, our team is happy to make sure you are comfortable, oriented and cared for in Oaxaca for the week, making the most of your workshop experience.
